I am running a simple command, no firewall dropping, going to unix rsync
server 2.3.1 from a win2k machine. and I am getting this error. note:(this
used to work before I upgraded my win machine from NT4 to win2k.

I have had rsync set up for 3 years running fine.
suddenly I am getting an error.
@ERROR: Unknown module 'root'
I haven't changed the versions, nor any of the configs, nor the OS.
The module is clearly in there and worked yesterday.
What could be causing this?

I have two servers solaris 7, and 2.6
running rsync 2.4.5
The existing customer is running rsync.2.4.1
pretty strait forward set up, I've done it a 100 times, but now I am getting
this message.
read error: Connection reset by peer.
What is causing this? I am going across a backend network using
