ink. So if a symlink points nowhere, >rsync has to ignore it or print an error, and it chooses to ignore it. But rsync needs to compare to "nowhere" on the destination system, not on the source system. Otherwise we need a new option "--copy-exactly-as-I-told-you-to" --
