I just installed Cygwin / OpenSSH / rsync on two Dell PowerVault 745N
NASes running Windows 2003 Appliance Edition. My rsync daemons are
running, ssh works, and in theory all is well. But... I'm getting an
average of maybe 15 Mb/s rsyncing between them.

On second thought we probably can reduce the chance of corrupted dirlist files
even more by marking them as "bad" (or just deleting them) when rsync notices

We're copying a large number of 256MiB-files from one
AIX-5.3 machine to anoter, using rsync-2.6.8 (with ssh). In
the morning, the rsync process stopped to copy any more files
(it is still hanging as I write this, and we can leave it alone for
a couple of days).
