I'm running rsync 2.4.4 on AIX 4.1.5. I am seeing zombie rsync
processes that continue to grow in number until the machine locks up.
Here is what the process look like when I do a ps:

rync keeps the right uid on the remote machine but
it just sets the group to 0 on all of the files. What could be my issue?

Obviously ssh is a source of a large fraction of the problems people
have in using rsync. Most of the problems seem to come from the fact
