I would think that program names in RG should normally match what is shown on the physical instrument display. I don't know if any instrument manufacturers provide for multiple languages in their software. I don't think my synths do, although being an English speaker, I have never looked 😕

I combined the two parts and loaded the result into Rosegarden. Looks good to me ! I also confirmed the issue with the translation. It seems the Program names are translated in QObject context (MIDIInstrumentParameterPanel.cpp). Does it make sense to translate the program names ?   Philip On
