I used Win NT with GSAS and I edit the autoexec.bat file as follows:
1) go to "Start", select "run"
2) in the "open" box - type "sysedit" - this will give you the option to
edit config.sys, autoexec.bat etc
3) type in the "paths" as described in the manual - in my case:
PATH C:\GSA
