we use both Kodak DEF 392 and CEA Reflex 25 which give similar results. The third
emulsion actually available is Agfa Structurix D7 which gives a better resolution at
the cost of much longer exposure times, also on blue base which makes no sense for our

In my opinnion the use of digitized data from Debye - Scherrer
film for for Rietveld Refinement is not a good selection
may be for the one very specific sample the results are goods,
but in general I think the use of good diffractometer is
a GOOD SELECTION

Dear All,
I am planning to do Rietveld refinement starting from Debye-Scherrer film
digitized data. Presently we use in our laboratory the "Direct Exposure
Film" DEF 392 produced by Kodak. I am not sure this is the best choice for
my purpose, so I would like to know which kind of materials people
