I've read several threads about this question but I haven't found a clear
answer yet, so here it is :
I'm working on a POC to store images in riak. In my test I've uploaded ~50K
images so far. In NTFS they take ~1GB of disk space but riak goes up to
70GB!
If I use the standard disk space
Are you rewriting keys? What client library are you using to upload them?
Just as an aside, you should probably use Riak-CS, Vanilla Riak isn't
really meant to handle object storage.

My mistake! Just found a bug in my code, I was uploading much bigger files
than I actually thought.

My understanding was that Riak CS was still recommending that it is
run against Riak 1.4.10, not Riak 2.0?

Yes. Riak CS 1.5.1 is tested with Riak 1.4.10.

Soo wouldn't it make sense for the repository containing Riak
1.4.x to be the same one that contains Riak CS 1.5.x, rather than Riak
2.x?
