support the ProtocolBuffers interface,the write performance of this is
naturally a lot faster.
Theres a trial release ready for download, I am planning to release
this to CPAN next week sometime.

What is the hard limit on links, through the REST API?
Would it be possible to have an object with say 300,000 links?
Or is this a terrible idea,
