I have already begun the process of open sourcing and making public all the
relevant repositories on GitHub, Quay.io etc.
I've done 2 of approx 6 so far. I expect to complete this within the next 24

Apologies for the delayed reply, was trying to export from riak 1.4.8. riak
2.0 would definitely address the ring size adjustment issue but I'd still
be curious as to best practices for moving data from one cluster to another
that may have different configs ie new default bucket properties and what
I just got around to using the Maven protobuf files instead of using a
local copy. Much easier! Thanks for mentioning this, Sean.

Among other interests, Jesse Gumm and I are writing a book on building
applications with Nitrogen. We plan to include a chapter that shows how to
build several db back-ends

I testing a Riak instance, with Riak
node/Riak-CS/Riak-CS-Control/Stanchion on the same ip address. So far, I
was able to access the Riak-CS Control console for creating/deleting user
accounts. My Riak-CS instance has been tied to port 8084. I am planning to
use proxy configuration for cre
