I think that a boolean parameter "is_auto" (or some name like that)
should be added to the get_next and get_previous functions of the
rb-play-order class. This would allow play orders like shuffle to to
different things depending on whether the next or previous was
initiated the action or not. Exam
Hi all,
I've expounded upon this idea on #rhythmbox on GIMPNet before, and this
is a repetition,more or less.
My idea is to be able to read the metadata of the next track to be
played in a stream, and search the RB library for matches. If
matched, then remove the particular track from the stream and p
I just got an email newsletter from "WAMU's Bluegrass Country"
station that I sometimes listen to using Rhythmbox.
I wish there was a comparable dedicated folk music stream.
This led me to this idea which might need new features in software like
Rhythmbox and hence the post here. (There may alrea

Hi,
The current default selection is quite poor.
I made a nice diverse list of stations that stream in Ogg Vorbis, and
even provided a rhythmdb.xml file.

Just because you don't like an idea doesn't give you the right to be

Please do =) I
I thought about that this summer and even started some hacking around
a non-linear slider which basically expands the resolution around the
current position. That was pretty convincing, thought not very usual.
Maybe I could fill a bug and share these early experiments there.

position, the progress bar should cover the entire track's length. In

The current slider takes up a lot of space in the UI, so here is an

current.
The new slider idea can be summerized to:
* The slider does not move as the song progresses.
* It is always positioned in the center.
* The center of th

I think one of the biggest hassles with instant messaging is that its tied to the computer. If Im away from the computer, like watching tv, I may miss an important IM. I can leave the speakers on the PC really loud, but then Im always jumping up and running back to the PC to read an incoming IM
