I've discovered two missing dependencies that caused the plugin not working:
libgpod4 and libgpod-dev. In fact, as I installed them, I received the

thanks to Jonathan, Loïc, Paul and Sven ( [?] ) I've finally come over
compiling rhythmbox with Paul's patch on a Debian (unstable) package.
The package seems to be 100% correct. However it seems to me that, even if

I've followed your weekly reports with a lot of interest, even if it's only
1 week that I have an iPod (I'm serious)! :)
