When I run it I get this:
sh@sh-R528-R728:~/desktop/rhythmbox-2.96$ rhythmbox
** WARNING **: signal "removable_media_scan_finished" (from
"removableMediaScanFinished") exported but not found in object class "RBShell"
** WARNING **: signal "database_load_complete" (from "databaseLoadComplete")
Are there any plans to support Apple's Airplay for devices that support
this? I'm interested in streaming music to my Airport Express Base Station
with Rhythmbox in the same way that iTunes is currently capable of doing.
Thanks.

I recently updated to Rhythmbox v0.13.2 in Ubuntu 10.10 via the guide at:
http://www.webupd8.org/2010/11/install-rhythmbox-0132-in-ubuntu-1010.html
I wanted to make sure that these are indeed issues with the plugin since the
version that I've installed has been backported for Ubuntu 10.10 and may

I'm not able to check Rhythmbox at the moment, but I'm thinking that all of
the current stations that are installed by default are in ogg format so
there are no other installation requirements for streaming by default.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong. ;)
Other than that, I think they are happy to

Podcasts are already supported in Rhythmbo

Hey Jonathan,
it's time to say: Thank you!
A lot of people appreciate the hard work you are doing here. And I'm sure it's often a pain in the
neck. Especially when dealing with requests like 'rhythmbox should behave more like itunes', 'why
can't rhythmbox do this for me?' and so on.

Hi,
that's funny. I've investigated the same thing, though without getting so far
as to submit a patch.
Especially I was interested in lowering the probability of very recent songs
being replayed.
In the course I noted, that the "history" of a song isn't updated before the

Hi Maximilian,
Yes, RB's cover art plugin is still using AWS for getting cover art. But
we could move to Last.fm API. I think Last.fm is much better than AWS,
it seems that their records/albums DB is larger. For example, there are
not cover arts for Russian artists, but it's possible to find t

Thanks, that was it! Now how do I remedy it?
On a side note the correct command is:
gst-launch -t playbin uri=file:///path/to/file/foobar.mp3
How do I strip APE tags from my mp3 files?

Hi List,
I have just installed Rhythmbox 0.9.2 with the DAAP support.
In my LAN I have a DAAP-Server running. To protect it of not allowed
access, it is password protected.
But rhythmbox don't give me the option to enter a password.
Does rhythmbox not support passwords on DAAP?

While I don't think that all sorts of apps should register themselves as
handling folders by default, this should now work again. This allows
users to easily add apps to the open-with menu for folders.

What version of gnome-vfs is this? There was some gnome-vfs change
related to something like this in 2.9.x.
