I solved the problem by installing the following (just in case someone
needs it in the future)
In the Terminal window type the following.
sudo apt-get install gstreamer0.10-pitfdll gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly

Thanks, we used Devils Pie, worked perfectly. We have our whole setup
working. Maybe we'll send some photos of it up and running.
