I am running RH el3 ... and packages are not available for that. I
installed the packages from Fedore 1 .. but gstreamer-universe fails
...
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
gstreamer-universe: Depends: gstreamer-plugins-extra-dvd (>= 0.8.0)
but it is not going to be installed

The reason I tried the xine backened was because I couldn't get
gstreamer to work ...
I compiled and installed gstreamer-0.8.10 ... no errors ...
and when I try to configure rhythmbox ... this is what I get ...
checking forgstreamer-0.8 >= 0.8.1 gstreamer-libs-0.8 >=
