G'day everyone,
As anyone who has updated to patch-52 or higher on the merge branch may
have noticed, I've added the option to sort automatic playlists.
Currently you can only change it via the playlist editor, and not by
clicking on column headers, but hopefully I'll fix that soon.

I thought I'd take 0.9 for a spin and grabbed a
copy of rhythmbox--main--0.9.
Unfortunately configure is looking for version
2.9.0 of libnautilus-burn whereas Debian unstable

version 2.8.7.
Since I have no desire to burn CDs, I am loathe

Okay, avoiding a scrollbar is good, but the columns playing musical
chairs when one tries to resize them is just plain awful. Why not let
the user move the boundary so that one column gets bigger, the other
smaller? Surely that's the intuitive and expected behaviour?
BTW, this is how Evolution mov

Hi
I'm running the rhythmbox--merge--0.9 repository and everything worked
great until recently when rhythmbox crashes when playing a song in the
queue with this error:

FWIW

If I could quickly be told where to look, maybe I could whip up a patch.
But I know nothing about Gtk and don't have time to wade through the code to
try

Where is the feature explained (you could call it "documented", but really
I just find the behavior incomprehensible)?

It's not a bug! It's a _feature_! :-) Just not a good one...
Maybe we should try to get a similar behaviour as evolution's mail
lis
Funny enough I saw that same problem on ubuntu's rb version. It might
be fixed in the devel version.

Can you please download the debug RPM, and submit a backtrace of the
crash please?
You can find instructions on getting a backtrace here:

After talking with BBB from GStreamer and totem, it seems getting the
mime type would be useful for totem too, so playbin might ga
When I try to load 70+ gig's of songs the application crashes about 3 to
4 min into the load every time. This used to work, but has stopped. I'm
using 0.88 on a FC3 box with both dag and freshrpms.

Since the RB keeps crashing (every day for over a year 0.88 is my
current version) and apparently play lists only get saved on exit. It
would be rather nice to just be able to save them without having to
restart the application.
