FTP doesn't work!!!

new lpr doesn't print!!!HELP

Dear all, I had upgrade my lpr to 0.48-1 (like suggested by RH), but I cannot print nothing. When I try to send a print in the /var/log/messages I see: lpd[16263]: lpd: couldn't open spool file dfA008beta as lp OK, I had try to chmod 777 to /var/spool/lpd/lp/*. When retry to print I see the
