Actually, San Diego has removed the need for the login program altogether. The pump
RPM will work out of the box in San Diego, so I'm told (I use ISC's version
instead). Phil's page @ "http://people.qualcomm.com/karn/rr/index.html" confirms
this.

1. I am running on a cable modem right now so if you get this it will be via
aroadrunner cable modem and be from linux. I hope I can remember everthing I
did to get this working.
2. I assume you are using some version of redhat. What I did worked on both
6.0 and 6.1 (I cannot speak for earlier

I assume you have tried WINIPCFG.EXE in the windows dir to see if your ip is dynamic.
