Hi all,
Anyone know Xmt library on redhat 6.1 or anyone has successfully compiled
from source? Xmt library is Motif Tools library written by David Flanagan
and includes many user interfaces which Motif 1.2 doesn't have. I have
compiled under HP-UX but have not successfully compiled under Linux.
Boot from some set of rescue disks (http://www.toms.net/rb/).
You may have to re-create some /dev entries yourself (man mknod)
mknod /dev/sda b 8 0
mknod /dev/sda1 b 8 1
mknod /dev/sda2 b 8 2
mknod /dev/sda3 b 8 3
mknod /dev/sda4 b 8 4
Then do

When I do the install and choose the option not to format, It also asks me for
my account information, root password, etc. I am willing to try that, I'm just
hoping I don't lose any data. Another thing that concerns me is that the mount
point isn't set for the native partition in Disk Druid.
There's an example below. As far as sending signals go you'd either have
to do it through your own proprietary messages through the pipes or you
can signal out of band using "kill()" and "signal()" calls. There is no
inherent OS method of signaling through a pipe itself.

I usually just do an install with no reformatting and installing no
packages, it puts on the base stuff, but that is easily fixed. There is
probably a better way, but I don't know what it is.

Hello Everyone...
I have a SCSI system that has 3 partitions.
1- Linux Swap
2- Linux Ext. (native)
3- Fat32
I first installed Linux 6.1 with Lilo. Not thinking, I later installed Windows
98 SE which cleared my Master Boot Record. Now when I boot my system, It

Hi,
I must write a program in C to automate a telnet
login to a remote system, execute some tests
and pipe the output back to parent.
Does anyone know how to setup a two-way
pipe between parent and child processes in a
C program that both can send and receive
signals??
Thanks
John
Also from memory the export laws have not been dropped as yet, its set down
for near future, RH and others are wise not to rush such things anyway, as
is easy to instruct on downloading from elsewhere

Make sure you make mrproper and clean up everything in your build tree
when you change the SMP configuration. T
Considering that the crypto export problems have been resolved, why
don't RedHat 6.2 betas include any of these fancy tools available on
ftp.replay.com?
