It's easy to make an inetd service unusable on Redhat Linux, by simple
flooding the port with connections.

motherboard. The install CD boots and guides me through the partition process. Then it
asks me which paging partitions to use and whether to check the for bad blocks. If I
choose to check, the kernel immediately panics
