This would seem to be where the error is coming from, but
how, or where is the comps file generated from?

I have been experiencing a problem with the updateHdlist script and
genhdlist.
I removed a package from the RPMS dir (x11amp) and ran the updateHdlist
script
When I made a new iso and burned it I got an error that
package x11amp at line 985 does not exist"
then I hit the OK button
