Hi all,
Over the last three days I have had one of this infuriating and frustrating
experiences with Sol-Ark where you talk to 3 people and get 10 different
answers. At least I think I finally got the right one today. Here is the
scenario and problem I was experiencing:
At a (very) remote locatio
Jason, You might need some more sophisticated equipment to diagnose the
problem. It is possible that the Enphase system is not responding correctly to
the Solark frequency adjustments as the battery gets full. We use our power
analyzer to diagnose these sorts of issues, The power analyzer is an
Good information. Thank you.
I don't believe the Sol-Ark is capable of tapering AC coupled sources. It
is either on or off. I know if you connect an AC coupled source to the GEN
input(s) you can change the set points for when AC coupling starts and
stops based on battery voltage or state of charge

Have recently had some similar issues. Ac coupling for the Sol-Ark really
need to be on the gen inputs and I am told that Sol-Ark does do frequency shift
on the gen inputs if needed. There is a programing button to turn it on, on one
of the screens

We had a similar situation with a dual SolArk 15K system. After
approximately an hour of turning system on we would get the F41 error on
the master ‐ the slave inverter would show an error and then the master
would shut down with the paralleling error F41 because the slave inverter

Hi Kirpal,
This is hugely helpful. More than you can imagine. I actually brought this
up with tech support because two of the inverters have Savant insignia on
them. The first slave inverter does not have this insignia. I did not
supply these inverters, as the customer already had them from anothe
last year SolArk tech support told me only the Gen ports have the freq/volt
modulation, and only when you program the master “AC Couple on GEN”

That's interesting on two fronts. I believe the documentation says you can
AC couple when off-grid with load side interconnected inverters. It would
have to have some mechanism to turn off AC coupled sources for that to
work. And it also says there is no modulation and it's on or off only.
Strange
Sorry I just noticed that you’re dealing with 15Ks. My scenario was with a
