a legacy product and I wouldn't want to have to deal with potential lack of
parts, technical support or warranty should something go wrong.

What about smaller 20-50 amp 48v nominal chargers that are programable for
lithium.
Again 208vac input.

At the risk of stating the obvious, If you are talking 208 L - L single
phase, use the chargers in multiples of three to balance the load on
whatever AC source you're charging from. If the charger has to be fed 240
single phase, 208-240v buck-boost xformers will do the job. The old stand
by 240vac
