Hey Folks,             I need some clarification, I'm getting conflicting views.  When running DC in metal conduit from the roof array to the exterior wall mounted string Inverter and the attic is the way to go (for various reasons, usually snow), how far below the roof does that conduit have

Andthe new Mate 3s they sent has the same issue, even after I reverted to the old firmware version. Thought it was very odd that gateway connectivity was OK before the firmware update and failed immediately afterwards. Would still appreciate any feedback if others have experienced this prob

Bill; If it's the IFC (International Fire Code) you need to comply with, the reference is 605.11.2 in 2012 and 2015 IFC -- Location of DC Conductors, which states they should be located at least 10 inches below the roof decking, and as close as possible to supporting members (firefighters won't cut
