Any recommendations as to semi flexible modules? I find sun power brand, but
many others saying “sun power cells”.
Prices are of course all over the map.

I have just done exactly what you plan to do, that is install blue ion
batteries in an existing off grid 48 vdc System. In my opinion you really do
need a mate 3S the Mate3 will work but there is potential for self-destruction.
You definitely cannot use an older hub. it Has to be a 10.3
If the issue is high quality lithium batteries, I’d recommend
