You need to provide more information. The 2014 NEC is a significant improvement
in the language related to single-phase inverters on a 3-phase service. To read
it any other way shows a very large misunderstanding of the language.
It should be much better on the 2014 NEC, not worse. Where
Has anyone run into Firestone brand metal roofing? A local roofer is trying
to tell my client that the warranty will be void if a solar contractor
installs S-5 clamps, but they have a different product and if they install
it (clamps only), it will not void the warranty. For (maybe) obvious
reasons

of any such rule BUT its safe to have the roofer do that and everyone is
protected then why not. Remember it all about the customer and if they feel
happy then we all are happy. But thats just me.Jerry.

Contact Firestone yourself and tell them the roofers claim and if it's true
then get it in writing. If it's not, get it in writing.
