Mac, I haven't heard of this board or had this problem; indeed, I'm not sure if I have even ever worked on a 14RES (at Positive Energy we used to be Kohler dealers last decade, but I'll let someone else deal with them now). So my answer is just one of perspective.

Larry, Ha! The mystery board? It's a Xantrex GTI, of course. They had a bunch of them left over when the SW40XX Rev. 4.10 was discontinued and they sold them to Kohler for cents on the dollar. And if you believe me you might be interested in a bridge I have for sale.
