This is a good representation of poor battery design. Reducing the # of strings
by increasing the capacity of the battery should always be considered. Yes this
is a cheap way to go but in the long run this type of install can be very
expensive. Without someone as experienced as Jarmo, the instal
Just to add a little perspective on the development of inverter based
storage, I have just attended InterSolar Europe in Munich. Every inverter
manufacturer is showing some type of add-on battery storage system.
SolarEdge was huge, they had the largest visibility of the inverter
manufacturers.

Has anyone AC Coupled an Outback System with SolarEdge ? I would like to see a
wiring diagram and know what components from Outback you used with SolarEdge .
I have been told variously that SolarEdge does not approve AC Coupling and that
they have approve it , depending on who I get on the phone

Outback with various other inverter manufacturers and their Radian AC

Actually the Radian system does adjust the battery voltage point that it
disconnects the grid inverter based on the stage of the charge timers using
the 3 stage inverter charger set points. The FNDC will also over ride the
timers if all fully charged parameters are met. It has the advanta
Thank you everyone for all of the great responses on anti-seize methods!
