Have you tried Eaton/Heinemann breakers? Old number is (410) 546-9778. They've had some jumbo breakers that Trace used to use on their battery disconnects. Bill Dorsett Manhattan, KS From: re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org [mailto:re-wrenches-boun...@lists.re-wrenches.org] On Behal

Even though the CBs may be more convenient, I'd opt for the Class T fuses because they are current limiting whereas CBs are generally not. In a direct short, the inrush current is huge. The T fuse will clamp that for a brief time and then blow. That works in your favor for heavy motor starting s

Fellow Wrenches; I am consulting on a larger project out of country, and the utility is (as usual) concerned with disturbances to the grid from the variations in solar output. I know that most of the latest utility scale inverters have some ability to control the rate that power ramps up and

Ray: Adjustable ramp times are becoming a common requirement in EU countries with high penetration PV. We can adjust in the seconds to minutes (a few thousand seconds) time frame. I can dig up details if relevant. Best Regards, John Berdner General Manager, North America SolarEdge Technologies

HI Kent; I actually used to have info from Trojan on the short circuit current available from the T105 and L16. I just don't remember it exactly, but I recall it was around 2000 amps for the T105. I agree its really shameful how lame most battery manus are at providing info anymore. Its ha
