What angle is your array? Where is it located?
What I am seeing may be regionally specific. I have seen some clipping,
but usually the inverters have some overhead left from the 199 W lim
Location is 45 N latitude, central Minnesota, the array I have watched the most

Hi, Mechanics~
My contact information for "Montana Light" aka "Light It Technologies" has
gone stale. The (406) 683-2697 phone number doesn't work, and moderate
internet searches have also failed to turn up the connection.
I need some of those lighting adapters that screw into an Edison base lamp
Hi all-
Does anyone have a copy of the 2009 International Residential Code? I
only have the 2006. Please reply off-list. Thanks!

Cold temperatures, optimum array angle, maybe snow on the ground. Just
add sun for lots of power, maybe even a lot more than rated power at
STC. It is easy to see why you are seeing clipping events. If the array
angle was on a 20 degree roof during the cold weather, the array output
may not go
Nick,
Could you post a diagram showing when a male whip is useful? I'm
having a really hard time envisioning a need for one.

I am just not that motivated by this conversation to create drawings. I

Thanks, Nick. So you are continuing a daisy chain of inverters across
a required clear space or obstruction that necessitates a change of
wiring method. As you said, you end up needing both the male and
female whips. So cutting an extension yields both pieces that are
needed. And there are
I have had failures with the Sunsaver MPPT. I have used them with a single
Sanyo module in small battery systems. Perhaps they just can't handle the 50.9

Hi Kent:
My Enphase tech support guy didn't mention that restriction when we
discussed it. Of course, the fact that the male could never be hot while
unplugged ensures that the application is safe. I do understand why they don't
provide the male; so that it is never used as the homerun cab
Mr. Brooks,
You replied to Mr. Parrish back in 2009 with this example (below) on
properly applying all the deratings to ampacity for wire sizing. I have a bit
of confusion and a question about the definition of "ambient temperature". You
define it below as the ASHREA 2% high temp. My NE
