That cell will have 2 or 3 posts coming out of the battery and you will need
to use a post cutter to remove the old mounting foot. Quick cable has them,
any other method id an incredible pain in the tail and hard to get the posts
right, and that makes them hard to weld back together,

Chinese crap, probably. There is a lot of it out there. I've got a
report from an installer in New Zealand that at least one Chinese PV
is failing on regular basis due to water intrusion through the Jbox.

Just a point of interest, mid summer down here in New Zealand I measured the
maximum irradiance at 1287 watts/SQM. on the longest day.
We are right under the Ozone hole and have very low pollution levels.
What sort of maximums are being seen elsewhere??
