I have a maxed-out MacBook Pro as a desktop replace
I just purchased a MSI U100 netbook and love it. Fast & cheap ($350.00).

Not sure on your model, but I just learned that pressing two fingers on the
Mac keyboard gives me the right click feature. That was a huge relief.

laptops. For the first few weeks - I cursed the Mac, missed my HP and
drove some SSE staffers crazy.
Inevitably though - for web, emails, Word and Excel it has been amazing. No
