It's always the inverter that you powered up first.
So you get to decide which one is the master.
FYI- this can cause problems with customers that fiddle around with
things and
turn the inverters back on the wrong order.fun ;-)

Hello wrenches,
I recently series stacked two SW 4024s. Everything seems to work fine. I
want to follow the recommendation that the slave device is the generator
controlling inverter. How do I tell which is the master and which is the
slave?
