I agree with that for floating flooded, wet cell lead antimony batteries... but
flooded lead calcium cells are a more appropriate choice for floating banks on
grid ties with backup. No cycling is necessary.

Cycle Life vs. DOD (depth of discharge) info for your battery, then multiply
