I believe the first pubic commercial system just went in at Turtle Bay
Resort. REC designed and built the system) I have heard that they had alot
of problems finding equipment here rated for 1000v and ending up somehow
putting in 600v equipment that was flagged by the AHJ at final inspection.

I'm am in the initial phases of design for a commercial system in Honolulu
and I'm planning on 1000v on the DC side and I want to know if anyone has
had any issues with the AHJ on going over 600v. Any advise on designing or
installing in Hawaii is appreciated.
