Time for an upgrade.
I am looking for a rail typical of the "old" Iron ridge Q rail or what used to
come on Watson trackers. Watson does not have any extra currently & distance
over size leads to ridiculous freight over-charges. The new Iron Ridge rails do
not work due to the curved sides.

Sounds like a generator problem, not an inverter problem.
Are you able to measure the voltage and frequency from the generator while
it is connecting to the inverter? The clicking could indicate the inverter
qualifies the AC as good and the transfer relay clicks, but upon connecting

Your AC Relay contacts on the utility side are dead... the AC Relay boards
on the VFX need to be changed out, or you need to pull it and replace the
relay. Those relays have 12 to 14 solder points, so unless you have the
"Jig" for desoldering them, it's a nightmare to replace without it
New AC board [if available) is around $250 +/- and relatively straightforward
to replace.
