The inverters have a pretty tight frequency range, I have adjusted gennys to run out of that tight range, they just keep waiting for the frequency to come back. I can take a little tinkering on some models but even 57 hz is enough if your Hawaii with the HECo rule or California. You can go over to

I had a similar scenario a few years ago and looked at the Generac SSM, but for some reason(s) I cannot recall, could not go this route. The system was on a house and the auto transfer switch and generator were in a shack that was unreasonable to trench too, and we did not want to rely on a wir
