Dave,
This was a Wrenches discussion topic, somewhere between 2001 and
2005.There was a fundamental incompatibility between the SW series
and the electronics of certain new model washers. The early Maytag
Neptunes and front-loading, electronically-controlled Frigidaires
Dave,
Do you know what it is that's failing?...electronics or motor? Is it
the same in both? Have these failures been happening since the 4048 was fired
up or more recently? Is there a lot of generator run time?

HI Dave,
Could be the SW, but I would check it on a scope to see the wave form.
Lots of other reasons for the failure.
New inverter might be in order, but I'd check to see what else is going on.

needing expensive repairs every year or so when run on a Xantrex SW 4048/S
inverter manufactured in June 2005.
Not one of my installs so I don't know the particulars.

Hello fellow wrenches;
We are attempting to control a small 24 VDC motorized damper motor on a
nominal 48 VDC off grid system. The damper is next to an Air Heater divert
load in a wall that is controlled by a MorningStar TS60 to take the top off
the 48 V battery bank at 56.8 volts. We have a 48 VD
Hey All,

Is anyone aware of an efficient DC/DC fixed power supply 24-29 vdc battery
range and 24-26 vdc output/ Load is 60-70 watts?

Does anyone have any experience with the PowerGrid battery system (by Clean
Energy)? we are getting ready to install a 27kW array with a 22kWH Battery Bank
