I'm sure he will use the SW until it dies. I would.
Never thought of running AC from the 24v side to the dual outbacks to charge
the 48 V BB. Would need a xfmr though right?
I would install a separate Midnite CC for each battery bank. I know the
classics output 12v at the aux, so what type of re
Wrenches,
A site visit discovered two of the AC input breakers on L2 inverters had
tripped but the handles didn't move. A forced reset of the breakers resolved
the issue. System back to proper operations and customer is happy.

Try looking at the New Midnite Kid, allows for two parallel charge controllers
off the same input.

The Blue Sky should still work as long as he switches PV positive and
negative. However, I like the idea of charging just the 24 volt system
and feeding AC to the Outbacks to charge the 48 volt bank. A little more
loss but mush easier to implement. You could easily control when AC is
fed to the
How about running AC between the two locations and then you can battery charge
via external charger or SW4024.?

Hi Jeremy;
I usually would combine both buildings all into one system, KISS
principle, and also less cost. Later when those batteries die, replace
with a properly sized bank. I also wouldn't be building a new system
around an SW4024, those are getting really dated. Great inverter, but
