Peter, It wasn't Siemens, it was Beacon Power, primarily a flywheel energy developer in Massachusetts. They continued to offer the Multi-Mode GTBB inverter for awhile, but the GC-1000 was immediately discontinued. You might contact them for more info - beaconpower.com
