Many thanks to everybody who responded to my post -- you have been very
helpful. I've been working in the field for 10 years, but I've never come
across a grid-tied SW before now.

Please remember the GTI is not compatible with SW models manufactured
prior to 2002.

The Trace SW4024 can sell it's full 4kW rating without any problem. The
GTI was developed to add an extra layer
of anti-islanding protection in 2002. The units that were previously
approved for grid interconnection were allowed
to be "grandfathered in" for the most part, and continu

The SW4024 should work great with a 3.3 kW array. Due to battery and
inverter inefficiencies you would never see the full 3.3 sell back any way,
which is less than the rating of the inverter.

I have a prospective client who has an old GTBB system using a Trace SW -- it
was permitted and signed off by the utility way back when and has been
operational ever since. It's a Trace SW 4024 that's feeding the grid through a
Trace T-240 transformer -- I didn't see a
