SMA Sunny Island, and to a degree with Magnum (off grid systems).
We do not support AC coupling with Outback because they do not yet do frequency
shift.

I have customer with very small electrical loads that we specified a
very small system for. The system is slightly under 1 kW with four
PV modules and four M-190 inverters. Under out net metering rules,
we must provide proof of homeowner's insurance to net meter a

Thanks David, that seems in line with what Im seeing too. These are all
tilted at approx. 20 deg on an unpainted flat metal roof so there is
reflection that could occur in the early morning and late afternoon. I
cant help but think that this isnt an unforeseen design consideration

That's the little strap that would slice you open if you weren't
careful. That's a very hard box to work in just with one inverter. My
recommendation would be to switch that box out for dual inverters. Use
Outback's Flex 500, or Midnite's Notagutter. You're trying to save t

The time has come where I am about to install the Solaredge system w/
AC-coupling capability. The actual battery inverter & batteries will come
later as an add-on. Is the Sunny Island the only battery inverter that uses
the frequency shift algorithm? The Solaredge software allows the Sunn
