Friends: It is my opinion that electrical manufacturers have consistently lagged behind the PV industry in providing specific specific hardware to meet 690 requirements. For example, we have an installation in progress with 3 XW6048 inverters. We need this many inverters for battery back up

Yes and No -- you can parallel all the inverters on the AC grid side, but then only two can be set up to run critical circuits. Or you can have as many run critical circuits, but then only two can send to grid. So the problem is the functionality when you want dual purpose system. Outback is

By way of update: A meeting was recently held at the site in question and the solution was agreed upon, if not the cause. Representatives were there from BP, Unirac, the ESCO and Standard Solar. It was determined that a) the RapidRac racking was not at fault and b) the installation was performed
