The measurement was made at the Vodafone site Gt. Barrier Island near
Auckland.
The site is about 500ft above sea level.
This is "Melanoma" country.
Don't forget your hat and sun screen.

Wow! That is pretty impressive and it matches the highest I've ever measured -
1285 W/m2 w/o cloud edge effect or snow and this was at 16,500' in Tibet!
Nice to work in an area that can produce 28% more energy per W then most
elsewhere.

Hello Carl,
I am guessing that you took the reading near sea level and were not
on top of Mount Cook putting in a telecom system!
