We have had nothing but trave reviews on the Solmetric. Pricey, but they
are replacing a LOT of pathfinders.

I probably have the ribbon cable and connectors in my shop. Is it built
pin1 to pin 1? That is the main question. I want to be very careful
because one Christmas eve, I blew out two Heart interface inverters by
shorting a sync cable.
Thanks,

Jim,
If you look at it the right way it may be a blessing in disguise.
We retired our old pathfinder for the Solmetric SunEye. It has become an
extremely valuable tool for site analysis as well as for marketing.
Our customers love that they can see right there on the spot what their solar

Hi, a client's rodents recently chewed up their SWI sync cable. I found that
the Trace connectors can be opened carefully, then reused with new ribbon cable.
20 conductor ribbon cable was not available in my podunk town but I had some

Thanks in advance, and happy solstice!

2-conductor clamps and SS screw attachment be just as easy to attach and
work with for flush roof mounted array wire management along rails? I w
Hi William,
I have a couple of spares that I carry and just have them reprogrammed.
Just getting very old.

We have installed a number of single XW installations but only one dual
XW. The dual system is giving us some problems. When the generator is
started, both inverters will charge, but aft a minute or so, the slave will
stop charging. This is even with very low batteries where both i

Mate set to auto.
Will start manually.
Time and date are perfect.
Volts got to 1.5v under 2 minute start and no start.
Getting frustrating.
