Took a ride up Harding Truck Trail on Saddleback Mountain here in Southern
California, Passed maybe 4 other riders all day.

Now was it just me or did anyone else find it a rather odd Rivendell,
the brazed BB I just assumed was to suit the geometry, what I found
unique was that this appeared to be a fixed gear mountain bike. Canti

As for, non garish headsets, Ive got Hatta Swan headsets on 2 of my bikes the
only marking if I recall correctly is a tiny NJS symbol, a little spendy, in
the
same price range as Chris King, yet beautiful, and as of yet, 2 years on my
Maldoror, problem free. We'll see if it holds up as well as
Early Riv Readers (including the first 9 readers) and catalogs on Ebay, for any
one needing a little extra bathroom reading.
