Hi everyone,
I've got a couple bikes-worth of brakes for sale. The Dia Compes have
*great* stopping power, but weren't a great fit on my daily rider. I've
upgraded the pads on one set to the Scott/Mathauser salmon pads with smooth
posts, and have another set if you want to add them in (I'll inc
I've used two different hubs. The first was a SRAM iLight 3W system that
was great, powerful, cheap, and completely undetectable as far as drag or
shudder. The second (my current one) is a Shimano DH3N72 -- marginally more
expensive, no difference I can tell in power output, but more shuddery at
Hi folks,
I'm selling some stems and a seatpost if you're in need to dial in the fit

With that in mind, maybe $100 shipped for everything?

Pearl and seatpost sold.
Regarding the Young: the clamp diameter as I measure it is 25.4 mm. The
rise is a little over 3 cm and the distance from min insertion is around
8.5 cm. Still totally functional and in great shape -- "no reason an adult
couldn't use it on their bike."

I don't post here often (because *eep* I do not own a Rivendell!) but I
just wanted to chime in that the sentiment expressed by Jim "I suspect
those transactions…are still a small eddy compared the flow of goods from
Walnut Creek" seems so totally on the mark to me that I wanted to endorse
it.
Hi everyone,
Here's one final round of pre-move cleansing. (Apologies for cross post to
iBob.) Let me know if any of this strikes your fancy. All items negotiable,
especially if you want more than thing! (Local pickup preferred, otherwise
shipping price TBD.)

Hi all,
As the title says, Nitto Noodles with used Tektro RL520 levers for sale.
Quite a bit of use, but 100% functional. There seems to be one minor
scratch (I'd estimate < 0.5 mm deep; not structural, hardly noticeable) on
the bars, plus some bar tape residue. There's housing cut and taped on
What rims are you using? Have you measured the actual width? I'd be curious
to hear the numbers.

Hi everybody,
I'm selling a set of Nitto Campee front and rear racks for $350
shipped. These are basically not used, and in more or less mint condition.
Some pics of new ones here:

I should mention that both front and rear racks have the removable lowrider
supports, and I've also got all the relevant mounting hardware.
Thanks again,
Sam

My apologies to a few who sent some recent inquiries, I should have said
that these have been sold. (I wanted to avoid spamming the list too
frequently!) I received payment this morning.
Best,

Firehouse Bikes at 50th and Baltimore is a great place; they have lots of
cheap used bits and plenty of beautiful vintage frames. If you are handy
yourself but need some tools and a little assistance, NBW / Bike Church is
also a great place to start, near 40th Street with nonstandard hours

Thanks for the responses, everyone. I've got some pretty clear interest for
the tires and 650b wheel, so it looks like those have found a new home; and
I've got some qualified interest in the hub, so that's probably spoken for,
too. Bars, brakes, miscellany, and 26" wheels still around.
Thanks
Hi everyone,
I'm selling a custom Swift Industries Ozette bag. The external dimensions
are 8 1/2" x 10 1/4" x 8 1/2" from seam to seam, so it is moderately
smaller than their standard size. It's got the same external pockets and
map case.
I'd like to get $170 shipped. I'd take $150 for local s
I'm going to bump this to say that I can be flexible on the price.

I like the Panaracer RiBMo tires, though I haven't put too many miles on to
compare against, e.g., Schwalbe Marathon Supremes. The RiBMo's seem super
beefy though, and everyone I know with them has been very happy with their
performance.
