Nice! I believe I was the first to do a rainy day test ride on that there
Appaloosa. I took it out last week while it was pouring and got it a bit muddy
on that little multi use trail back behind Riv, I figured as well it was All
arounder fashion to not care about getting the bikes muddy and wet
I have both a B&M IQ-x and B&M Luxos U on my two main rando bikes. I like the
Luxos for very long road rides to charge Garmin or phones/devices while riding
during the day and let the lamp work alone at night. It can definitely charge
and run the light at the same time tho. Another great feature

I've ridden that 56cm toyo Atlantis and converted in to 650b for a 300km
brevet, it definitely felt faster with 650b, could just have been the
faster compass tires though. I remember when I sold the 56 Atlantis I
always thought that specific geo was too big for me back then, now I ride a
"60cm"

I rode the hi rider rack on my 56cm Toyo built Atlantis for like 2yrs, good
rack, handled any size load i needed it to. Bike handled as good as a mid trail
bike with heavy front load could handle. I still have it, its under my bed.
I rode it on two short tours, one from Sf to big sur and back, a
Tim Gavin you can run strava in airplane mode. It saves a lot battery

Another thing to consider is they get in the way of your knees if you climb out
of the saddle a lot. I climb like that and that's the reason I don't use
bartenders, every single fricken time I get up out of the saddle my knee hits
those things. I picked up one of those rock climbing chalk holder

I rode soma Caz tires from oakland, ca up the coast then went the 199 thru
southern central Oregon up to Portland OR /Vancouver WA via 99 with zero flats.
Even stopped by crater lake. All pavement miles, those tires are fast.

Finally building my orange Toyo riv Rambo (are they all toyo?) and looking for
a Nitto 9cm stem preferably NP/Pearl or dynamic in 26.0. Is there any diff in
angles on those nittos? I know the Jaguar looks very aero but I'm still not
sure about the others.

I have a pair of small and im a 30 as well. Mine are from the riv garage sale
so I'm really not sure if they're the same generation, but, I'd have to say the
waist on the small is kinda tight, I usually don't clasp the buckle and it
hurts my tummy if it rides up too high because the elastic is p
