I find that *super bright *flashing lights make it harder to see where a
bike is when I am driving a car and see a cyclist.
Front white lights are even worse. Just huge flashes, and then my eyes go

I use 41 Noodles or 40 Nitto M151F drops on 6cm Pearl or Tech deluxe stems.
The M151f bars are shorter reach and drop than Noodles, and easier to reach

if your experience turns out like mine, the ride quality of the Roadeo will
blow away all of your other rivbikes. You will probably pick the Roadeo for 95%
of rides, even for commutes, like I do.
Seriously think about a dyno hub on the front wheel. If you decide on dyno
lighting I would go for
PS- and I ride GB Cypres 700 x 30 tires, which measure 31-32mm wide on these
brevet rims at 60psi.
For a more “excited” feeling ride (but no faster) try 32 Paselas tour guard.
They rode nice too. More “excited” feeling. Maybe more vibration? Better tread

auto bead seat upon first inflation.

Just as a reference point, Sugino XD2 double 110bcd 34/43 rings weighs 677g.
That includes rings, arms, bolts.
For a Rivbuild that isn't going to be vintage looking I think the Sugino
stuff is great. All silver, doesn't look olde tymie and doesn't look
transformer new like new cranksets ny Shim
You could do a 26/42 up front.
Make sure the big ring is geared with rear cassette so you can handle 95%
of your riding so you can stay in that ring.

I am going to also say that, based on what I have read, I am under the
impression that 26" will spin up faster than 700c, but 700c is faster over
the course of a ride. And that 650b can be fast, but not as fast as 700c
(that part is according to Rene Herse bikes in Boulder Colorado).

Roadini tubing way thicker walled than Roadeo. Below 59cm sizes Roadeos are
6/4/6 DT/TT. 8/5/8 59 and up.
