Wyatt & Matt— thanks for the positive comments! You’re both right, it really is
a great bike. I know the long wheelbase discussion recently has been somewhat
polarizing, but I personally really like the ride of a longer wheelbase. It
doesn’t have quite as long of chainstays as the MIT Atlantis
Joe— I totally agree with you. My Atlantis is a thing of beauty to look at and
ride, but these early MB’s have a great timeless look and feel to them all

I have a Soma quill adapter with a 40mm threadless stem which allows me to use
a Jones Loop Bar on my 1985 MB-2, and it works great. I chose the Soma because
it was the adapter that I could find with the greatest length to get the bars
way up high.

you’re looking for something wider, but I second the Soma Cazaderos (650b x
42mmm) on my Atlantis as well. For a mixed terrain tire, it has a surprising
amount of bite off-road and on singletrack, and rolls really smoot
Joe, I think a paude is what you do when you finally come to the realization of
